Note: Add Easy Digital Downloads or Images to the Front Page or Gallery Page before you set up your menu
- Install Easy Digital Downloads from Suggested Plugins notification on WordPress dashboard
- Activate plugin
- Go to Downloads => Add New
- Enter title of photo
- Enter description of photo as body text
- Create a Category
- Create a Tag
- Create pricing options and set the price of the download (for variable pricing, multiple options must be set)
- Create file by adding file name and uploading image from media uploader
- Add as many files as you have of the photo
- Add photo as Featured Image
- Click Publish
- Repeat steps to add additional photos
(If you only want to display the photo without selling options, do not set a price.)
Adding Widget Details
- Go to Appearance => Widgets
- Select the Download Details widget and drag it to Photo Sidebar widget area
- Create title of the Download Details sidebar
- Review the options you would like to list in your details area
- Press Save
- Select Downloads Cart widget and drag it to Photo Details widget area
- Create title of the widget and select hide on checkout page
- Press Save
- Review Download by clicking More Info on your photo page
Add Gallery Page
- Go to Pages => Add New
- Enter title of gallery page
- Select Gallery Page template
- Click Publish
Add Full-width Gallery Page
- Go to Pages => Add New
- Enter title of gallery page
- Select Fullwidth Gallery Page template
- Click Publish
