LAX – Home Page Widget Area Layout with Slider

Scroll down the page for detailed instructions

1. Go to Pages => All Pages and select your home page
   
   
   
2. Make sure that your Home Page is set to the Home Page – Widget Areas w/Slider template
   
3. Click on Slides -> Add New
   
   
4. Add slider title and slide content
   
5. Set Featured Image as slide image
   
6. Click Publish
   
   
7. Click on Appearance => Customizer in the Admin Panel
   
   
8. Go to Home Hero Options
   
   
9. Open up the Slider section
   
10. Adjust slider speed to new timing by milliseconds (ex. 6000 = 6 seconds)
    
11. Press Save and Publish

Adjusting Slide Order

1. Click on Slides => All Slides
   
   
2. Select slide you would like to move
3. In the Publish sidebar, click the Published on edit link
   
   
4. Adjust the date accordingly ( setting the month back to previous months will move the slide back in Slider order )
   
5. Click Update
   
   

Slider Navigation

1. Go to Appearance => Customizer
   
2. Go to Home Hero Section
   
3. Go to Slider
   
4. Set the radio button to either Dots or Arrows
   
5. Customize the Slider Navigation color
   
6. Press Save & Publish
