Each theme comes with a .pot which makes theme translation a breeze with the CodeStyling Localization plugin.
- Download the Loco Translate plugin
- Click on Install Now
- Click Activate Plugin
- Click on Tools => Localization
- Click on Themes
- Click Add New Language and then select the appropriate language
- Once the .po/.mo is generated, click on Scan
- Scan the .pot file
- Click on Edit
- Open up a translator like Google Translate or your preferred translate method
- Translate each phrase with the proper translation
- Save
- Generate .mo file if needed
- Return to site to see if the translation worked
